Vikings vs. Raiders won’t be quite as exciting as the Super Bowl, but there will still be plenty of reasons for NFL fans to tune into the game.

Both Minnesota and Las Vegas have new coaches ahead of the 2022 NFL season. Fans got a taste of Josh McDaniels’ offense in action at the Hall of Fame Game; now, they will get a chance to see how Kevin O’Connell’s offense looks with the Vikings.

O’Connell is a disciple of Sean McVay, so it will be interesting to see if his offense mirrors that of the Rams coach. Either way, it figures to be less conservative than the run-heavy offense employed by Mike Zimmer over the previous eight years.

The starters for each team may not play long in this contest, but plenty of rookie talent will be on display. The Vikings will get their first in-game look at defensive backs Andrew Booth and Lewis Cine as well as guard Ed Ingram. All will look to compete for starting jobs in the Minnesota defense.

The Raiders, meanwhile, will continue their running back competition. Josh Jacobs, Brandon Bolden, Kenyan Drake and rookie Zamir White are the ones to watch in that position battle.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch Vikings vs. Raiders as Week 1 of the 2022 NFL preseason comes to a close.
