Live updates, highlights from Titans-Packers ‘TNF’ game
The Packers are coming off an overtime thriller against the Cowboys, downing former coach Mike McCarthy in Green Bay thanks in large part to Christian Watson’s three-touchdown performance. Such an awakening for the rookie wideout could provide a boost to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense, which has sleepwalked through much of the season.
But Green Bay faces a tall task in the AFC South-leading Titans. While Tennessee isn’t quite firing on all cylinders — some of that is thanks to the injury to Ryan Tannehill, who came back in Week 10 — the Titans still boast a league-best rushing defense. Not great news for Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon.
That said, Watson has an opportunity to take advantage of the Titans’ pass defense, which has allowed the second-most passing yards and also ranks 28th in the NFL in passing touchdowns surrendered. If Rodgers and Watson find their groove again, then the Packers could find their way to another win against another quality opponent.
