The Steelers and Browns’ seasons are mirroring each other so far in 2022: Both teams had thrilling Week 1 wins, both teams had really disappointing losses in Week 2 (well, Cleveland’s was really bad), and both teams find themselves trying to figure out its identity entering their first meeting of the 2022 season.

Of course, quarterback is the first question for both teams, but this is where the differences start to take shape. With Kenny Pickett waiting in the wings for the Steelers and Mitchell Trubisky not offering much in the way of, well, anything so far this season, the clock could be ticking for Mike Tomlin to make a change.
On the other sideline, the Browns will have to tread water with Jacoby Brissett until the return of Deshaun Watson later this season. Brissett and the Browns offense looked good against the Jets — until they didn’t. Brissett threw a game-sealing interception with an opportunity to take the lead, solidifying the collapse.
The AFC North doesn’t quite seem as strong as it has in years past in the early goings this season. It is, though, just Week 3, and there’s plenty of time for both teams to turn Week 2 into a distant memory.
