Truex will hope to add to his legacy at the “Monster Mile” during Sunday’s DuraMAX Drydene 400.
It will take a lot of work, admittedly. Hendrick’s trio of Alex Bowman, Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott secured first, second and third place, respectively, in last year’s race. All three are expected to compete at the front of the pack once more this time around.
Still, if Truex can find his form, it could make for an interesting finish. The 41-year-old driver is currently No. 8 in the Cup Series rankings. A good showing at Dover could easily push him up the leaderboard right as the Cup Series starts to approach its crescendo.

Those hoping to stream the race can find it on Fox Sports Go or via fuboTV, which offers a free trial.
What time does the NASCAR race at Dover resume?
Sunday’s race began at 3 p.m. ET, but weather has caused it to be pushed to noon on Monday after 78 laps.
