The “World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party” will feature an all-name matchup between the Bulldogs and Gators, but seemingly little else ahead of the 2022 matchup. Top-ranked Georgia has seemingly woken up from a two-game lull earlier in the season to outscore its opponents 97-10 in the last two weeks.

Meanwhile, Florida is 1-2 against ranked opponents thus far this season, the lone victory a home upset vs. then-No. 7 Utah in the season opener. Whether the Gators can pull off another such victory against the Bulldogs remains to be seen.

One advantage Florida may have: The Gators face no pressure with first-year coach Billy Napier — unlike the Bulldogs, who are looking to repeat as national champions for the first time in school history. Will Georgia get caught looking ahead to next week’s top-three matchup against Tennessee?
